We believe in being extremely particular when it comes to environment conservation. It is our duty to act wisely and in concurrence with nature. Today, the world has become increasingly sensitized to environmental issues. Major concerns like depletion of the ozone layer, and increase in greenhouse gas emissions are issues that have raised alarms globally.
To honour our obligation toward the planet, We are committed to preserving and enriching our environment by complying with applicable environmental regulations and Implementing appropriate technologies to minimize pollution. The following initiatives are undertaken:
Pashupati has a strong vision for green energy projects and to further this vision, the company has invested in mega solar projects. For the same, we have installed Rooftop Solar of 2.7 MW and by investing in 9.5 MW ground-mounted solar projects which generate 19 million units of green energy.
With the motto of efficient power usage yet producing requisite energy output, the company has invested in 2.7 MW Hybrid Wind and Solar projects and 2.7 MW Standalone wind mill that generate 17 million units of green energy.
We aim to adopt the techniques like checking greenhouse emissions, Emergencies preparedness, recycling waste in an environment-friendly manner, Creating awareness among all employees towards minimizing the waste and discharge through effective training, and ensuring continual review and improvement of our Environmental performance. The group has installed a machine to process the dry leaves and convert biological waste into fertilizer with a capacity of 35,000 Kg per annum.
The group takes active measures to save water and treat wastewater in the best possible ways to reuse and dispose of safely. It adopts techniques like preservation of natural resources through efficient conservation techniques Rain harvesting, using waste water etc.
Softner and RO plants have been installed in the units for production activities and water from the H-Plant, RO waste water and RO waste gutter water is reused.
We have a well-designed system for efficient water management at the campus. From the borewell, the water is sent to the RO for industrial use out of which wastewater is used in the toilet blocks. Thereafter, the wastewater is treated in the STP and is used for watering over 2000 trees and plants across the campus.
Adopting the motto of GO GREEN at every stage in the business, the group aims at planting more trees inside & outside the campus premises, reducing paperwork by adopting digitalization practices to save trees, and promoting afforestation and social forestry around the campus. The campus is home to more than 2000 trees with a variety of over 50 different species of plants which includes certain ayurvedic plants having medicinal properties.
